Again, it has been a very long while since I last updated this blog. But, let there be light! The path of my Gamedesign adventure has been on going on for almost two years now and I have to say that I have learned a lot from it! It even came to a point where I found someone that was willing to make an investment and give me a little boost into the right direction.
Since the middle of October I have been meeting said person,(Who desires to remain anonymous.) and we have been crafting our ideas together with him doing all the artwork for the project. Which eventually resulted into a game which features Steve, but also introduces a new character; Simon! Simon truly is a intelligent one. Young, but already as bright as a professor! Well, of course such is the child's imagination.
The goal of the game is mainly to launch Steve into space with a home build rocket. Avoiding obstacles and making progression whilst earning a hefty sum of points along the way. Falling into different dimensions and encountering aliens along the way. The set up is to divide the worlds into small chapters of five levels, - Where it is still undecided on how many chapters there are, but so far, we've only completed the demo build. But each world will have their own theme and different artwork with a lot of hidden eastereggs hinting towards the old DOS games I liked to play as a kid.

I have hinted before on twitter with posting an in progress screenshot of the title, but I found it alright to post something of my project now as it is the right time in doing so! (Not to mention, I rarely post in the first place!) The planning of the release will be Februari 2016. The demo will hit the stores a week or so prior to the release of the full game. The demo, will be absolutely free and ADVERTISEMENT FREE. I am fully aware of the annoyances that ads in apps can bring, I do not wish to join that trend. The full game will be available for a estimated $0.99 cents. There will be more information to follow on the project, but so far I can say that I am excited about the progress it went through already!
